Climate Grief = Love (5 Minute Podcast)
Mixing it up a bit today with a quick 5-minute podcast episode called “Climate Grief = Love”. Never done this before so let me know what you think!
To be honest, I recorded this in December to capture my thoughts while out on a walk…never thought I’d share it with anyone else, but I just listened to it and like it so here we are haha. For those who are offended by swearing – I do, uncharacteristically, drop an f-bomb. You’ve been warned.
Hope you enjoy!
Useful tip from an anxiety expert:
“Instead of fearing the fear, see it for what it is, and do it once, skipping the anxious-about-being-anxious spin cycle.” – Sarah Wilson
(works for both the coronavirus pandemic and the climate crisis)
I’ve been thinking a lot about what we can learn from this awful, gut-wrenching, historic pandemic. As bad as it is, I do think there are lessons we can learn – lessons that will help us to better respond to the other, bigger, slower-moving, climate crisis we are faced with. More on that to come.
Be well. Stay safe. Do whatever it is you can to help (even if that just means staying home).
And take care of yourself!
